Client Support & Administration Manager

Erin Macdonald

Erin is our Client Support & Administration Manager at Yakka Finance. Starting her career in the hospitality industry, specialising in the organisation of Large Corporate Conferences and Event Operations. Erin has worked at many large hotel groups around Australia, including Hayman Island, Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, Pullman & Mercure Hotels. These large businesses taught her the keys fundamentals of managing customers, have strong organisational and management skills to ensure that wants and needs are met to the highest standards.

After many years of working weekends, she found herself making her move into the finance industry. Erin worked for a company that was an Asset Finance Lender in the Australian market. She built up her incredible skills in the Asset Finance Industry and a great in-depth knowledge on the equipment utilised in these industries and each banking policy. Falling in love with the industry and especially the clients that she supported through their business journey.

Erin joined Scott at Yakka Finance, as his first employee in 2018. Despite living and working in Brisbane, they managed to be able to effectively communicate to each other daily, making them an unstoppable team.

In 2022, Erin was the winner of “Office Administrator of the Year” at the Women in Finance Awards. Erin has a strong reputation amongst our lenders as having the highest quality work coming to attention to detail in her settlements.
